Especially interested in: I prefer writing alternate universes, be
they the common trope-y coffeeshop/café, the world-changing A/B/O, or a
good ole' f***-the-canon. Age regression? Age play? Wing fic? Stupid spell
goes off and everyone is stuck talking in pig Latin? Throw it at me!
Fluff with interspersed angst for dimension is my main wheelhouse, but I
can write heavy angst if inspired by the right prompt.
For pairings, I tend to prefer writing reader inserts or slash, and I enjoy
the challenge of rare-pair just as much as the fun of teasing out a new
story for a fandom staple. I'm very character-driven with my writing,
though, so please check with me if you want a rare-pair – I want to do your
idea justice, and there are a few characters (especially in the MCU) I find
hard to write as main.
Unwilling to address: I won't write anything explicit. I won't write
character-bashing. (This includes MCU Team Cap bashing; I'm solidly Team
Iron Man, but I still love Steve & Co.) I won't write incest or only one of
the pair being underage (with an exception for someone 17 paired with
someone18 or 19). I won't write *majorly* OOC behavior. (Ron not being
afraid of spiders is okay; Harry being evil is not.) I won't write
non-canon major character death. I won't write bathroom humor.

Especially interested in: I'm a big fan of AUs and what-ifs. If I'm
beta-ing something explicit, I'd prefer slash. I'm comfortable with
beta-ing most specialties that people can be uncomfortable with - A/B/O,
D/s, age play, etc.
For specialty information, I have experience working as a professional
musician, a personal assistant, and a library assistant, so I can help with
details relevant to any of those jobs. (As much as it pains me, I've taught
people how to steal library books for the sake of realistic writing.) I'm
also a veritable fount of information on such varied topics as
Christianity/Bible school, fabric arts, guns and maintenance, age play/what
it's like being little, wilderness survival, submissive instincts, rural
Alaskan communities, cats, stupid puns/dad jokes, musicals, and mental
health conditions/how to help people with them. If required, I'm willing to
bug my Brazilian brother-in-law for culture tips or 1 to 5 short phrases in
Portuguese. (He's a fanboy too. It's totally cool.)
Unwilling to address: Hard limits: scat, verbal humiliation (during
sex), femmeslash, incest, rape, minor/adult relationships, daddy kink (I
just can't)
Soft limits: graphic violence, consensual non-con play, sexual age play,
suicide/suicidal thoughts, major angst
Soft limits are up for negotiation and will depend on context/length of
focus in fic. (Example: Majorly agnsty fic of depressed character leads to
their suicide = NO. Character tries to commit suicide, is found and helped,
and the rest of the fic focuses on recovery = okay.)
Notes: When beta-ing, I'll help with grammar and punctuation, as
well as overall story flow, but I won't help with major plot development.
Need a prank for one character to play on another? Ask away. Need to rant
to someone to get your ideas in order? Rant on! But it's your idea, your
story, and I'm not comfortable helping you set up the plot.
I'm an odd mix of cheerleader-type beta and 1,000 things that could be
better - I'll be super positive the whole time, but give plenty of feedback.
NON-NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKERS WRITING IN ENGLISH: I have a good bit of
experience with people for many different nationalities who have trouble
with English. If your fic fits the guidelines I've set for what I'm
comfortable with, and you'd like someone to read through and double-check
your English or help with the flow, I would be honored if you'd choose me.
