I can also offer a couple of kinds of expertise-picking: I'm trained
as a scholar of religion, so I can talk to you about anything
religion-related (albeit with wildly varying levels of specific
knowledge about specific traditions) or anything in which your
characters wrestle with their faith.

I can also help with college or university AUs! Even if your MCs are
students, it might be helpful to have some institutional background,
depending on the shape of your story. (Do you know what *kind* of
college or university your characters are attending? Do you know how
and why they ended up there, and not somewhere else?) Private liberal
arts colleges are really different than big state universities; I can
help you think about where you want to set your story, and what kinds
of details will make it feel real.

I will take one of your stories and rewrite it: put it in a new
setting, tell it from the POV of a different character, change one
foundational detail so it plays out differently, something like that.
