Length/scope: I would like to see at least $10 per 1k words, up to a 10k maximum. You can certainly donate more if you really want me (the charities will thank you!) but due to some other writing projects, 10k is the most I would be able to take on at this time.
Especially interested in: I really do love fairy tales and have
always enjoyed rethinking and reworking them. I'm particularly
interested in European folklore, but enjoy stories from all around the
world.
Unwilling to address: I don't do dark and gritty things (the
number of times I've rewritten things when they become dark and gritty
is innumerable so I've come to accept it's just not me or what I
write) which includes but is not limited to whump, hurt, or no hope
scenarios. If you would like an M or E rated story please understand,
I do not do scat, knife play, blood play, non consensual sex, or gas
lighting. Parental death is a tricky subject for me -- I can handle
writing it in passing, but cannot do deep explorations of it ( yes, I
know I just said I would be interested in writing a fairy tale, which
I do love, but yes, also deep exploration of parental death is an easy
way to get me to nope right out of something).
Notes: I'm willing to work with all fairy tales, but please
have a copy on hand by link, to scan, or some kind of reference I can
look up through world cat so I can get it on inter library loan (I
need to reference the material to work with!) If you select MFM and
would like to do two particular crimes, please also include at least a
wikipedia link (or something similar) if you win the bid. Again, it's
hard to write about things if they don't have references. I am also
amenable to talking about fairy tale crimes in the voice of My
Favorite Murder if you want to combine the prompts.
