Unwilling to address: I'd prefer to avoid rpf, explicit gore,
underage, bestiality, and a/b/o. I enjoy working with themes of healing and
recovery, including rape recovery, but would prefer to not work with rape
outside of fics that also include an element of healing from it (ie,
plot-what-plot rape fics). If you're not sure where your fic stands in
relation to my preferences/boundaries, please feel free to email me and we
can discuss!
Notes: Betaing: People use "beta" to mean a lot of different things,
and I have found that betaing works best when expectations are decided on
ahead of time, and clearly communicated! On my end, I am happy to do line
editing, idea & plot development, plot hole hunting, holding you
accountable to writing deadlines, and/or being the human version of a
coder's rubber duck. I ask that you let me know what would work best on
your end, and how I could best help you.
Explicit works & kinks: I am willing to beta explicit work, with the caveat
that in addition to the rpf, explicit gore, underage, and a/b/o I have
listed, some explicit content can squick me sufficiently so as to prevent
me from doing a good job at betaing. I have found that this also works best
with clear communication from the outset, and the option that if a
particular fic turns into essence of squick, I instead both a) help you
find a replacement unsquicked beta and b) beta a different fic for you.
