Length/scope: Less than 5K words
Especially interested in: Most of my stories are basically '2 or 3
people talking' and tbh that's my niche. I'm happy to try working in an
unusual form if you want second-person POV, say, or a series of drabbles,
or even a sonnet or a monologue or what have you (though in the case of the
sonnet, we'd have to see about relaxing the 1k minimum.) As to specific
fandoms, for PoI, I'm most comfortable with Finch/Reese or Gen, but I'm
happy to try any pairing (including gen pairings!) in the group of Finch,
Reese, Carter, Fusco, and Shaw. (I love Root but I don't have any idea how
to write her, she's amazing.) For the Vorkosigan Saga... basically any
main-timeline reasonably happy canon pairing (so off the top of my head not
Ges/Aral or Vordarian/Kareen), and I expect I'd be happy to try my hand at
most non-canon pairings but since I don't want to be surprised by a wild
Elena/Piotr AU, let's say I'll rule them in. For Queen's Thief, let's say
canon pairings plus Costis/Kamet, Gen/Costis, and Gen/Costis/Irene.
Unwilling to address: I'm not comfortable doing anything with
addiction or character bashing or stories where all the characters'
suffering is rendered totally meaningless by the narrative and everything
is terrible forever :P I also don't want to write noncon or incest or
endgame unhappy pairings. I'm fine with writing some forms of kink but not
certain others (e.g. watersports or daddy kink), but as I don't have a
totally encyclopedic knowledge of everything kinky I'd rather rule things
in on a case-by-case basis.
